EVENT MANAGEMENT & PRODUCTION
- Liaise with clients to find out their exact event requirements
- Produce detailed proposals for events (including timelines, venues, suppliers, staffing and budgets)
- Research venues, suppliers and contractors
- Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
- Manage and coordinate suppliers and all event logistics
- Liaise with sales and marketing teams to publicize and promote the event
- Manage all pre-event planning, organizing guest speakers and delegate packs
- Coordinate suppliers, handle client queries and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly and to budget
- Manage a team of staff, giving full briefings
- Oversee the dismantling and removal of the event and clear the venue efficiently
- Research opportunities for new clients and events.
- Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
- Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success
- Supervise all staff (event coordinators, caterers etc.)
- Approve all aspects before the day of the event
- Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur
- Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports
- Work with the Marketing Manager to develop brand and develop relationships with potential sponsors in order to coordinate the delivery of good practice advice to event officials
- Develop standardized procedures for holding major events
